The Victims of Violent Crimes Support Group

We are a nonprofit support group. We are made up mostly of family and friends of murder victims. We help with all types of murder cases, from support to families, to handing out flyers of unsolved cases, to raising money for funeral cost. We are here to help in any way we are able to. All victims and their families are welcome to join us to care and share.

Working together we provide support in: Court Hearings & Trails. We participate in Candlelight Vigils, held in Memory of Murder Victims. Fund raisers, Victims’ Rights Week, which is held annually in April at the State's Capitol. We host, along with our local Victims witness Program: The Annual Holiday Candlelight Vigil held In December at Weber Point in Stockton, California.

The Victims of Violent Crimes support group began in 2002 as a gathering of a few families who had been devastated by the murder of a loved-one. As we shared our stories and struggles with one another, we found encouragement, hope and healing. As we have worked to help support one another, we have learned how to navigate through the emotions, hardships, and the various stages of the Criminal Justice system.

It is our great Joy and Privilege to listen to the hurting, and encourage them with the same hope that we have found.
